911 S at the El Tovar

There is no better place to spend a night at the Grand Canyon than the El Tovar Hotel. Built in 1905, the El Tovar is a Grand Canyon icon. A Registered National Historic Landmark, the El Tovar is perched right on the edge of the Canyon. The porch is a perfect place to kick back on a chair, crack open a beer and gaze out at the Grand Canyon just beyond the flanks of your early "S".

OEM Early 911 Hood Crest - For Sale

Original hood badges with the orange enamel are getting harder and harder to find. This one is an original that I pulled from a car that was being parted. There are no cracks in the enamel and both posts are intact on the backside.

Price is $375.00 plus shipping SOLD!

904 on the streets of Detroit

Last fall I had the rare opportunity to drive a real 904. Interestingly, my short tour was conducted on the streets of Detroit, Michigan. The story of the car and how it made its way from winning the 84 hour endurance race at the Nurburgring to residing in Detroit for the nearly 40 years is fascinating. If all goes as planned, you will be able to read all about it in an upcoming issue of Excellence Magazine.
