For Sale - Nice Original Leitz Luggage Rack for Porsche 356

This is a nice little luggage rack. No dents or bends and the chrome, while not perfect, is good and has a nice shine. The plastic rub strips are intact and un-cracked. I would rate this as an 8 out of 10 simply because the chrome shows a little age.
Would look perfect on anything but a perfect concours car.

Issue 217 of Excellence Magazine has my piece on two vintage short wheelbase 911's that competed exclusively here in the U.S. Both cars were discovered by Don Ahearn and restored to their '60's livery.

The Cool Bits

I picked up this little treasure this week. Its a NOS Porsche Purolator oil filter with a 901 part number. Very rare! The coolest thing about this one is that it has a date stamp that will fit quite well with my '70 S restoration.

It will look good on the shelf and who knows, if I decide to take the car to a concours event it might be worth spinning on.
